What We Believe

Seeds of Wheat Ministry is an evangelical outreach on the Seacoast of NH ministering the Word in the streets and catering to the needs of the homeless. We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God. We believe that God came to earth in the form of a man from a virgin birth, suffered amongst us, was crucified, and then rose from the dead on the third day. We believe he ascended into Heaven and is now at the right hand of the Father, and will return in due time. We believe in the triune God manifested in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19-20). We believe the Biblical call to help those who are less fortunate (1 John 3:17). We seek to help all people of any creed, religion, sexuality, or ethnicity as Jesus taught to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31). We do this while maintaining Biblical views and values, such as the abolition of abortion and the opposition to same sex unions (Ephesians 5:31). We believe in the gifts of the Spirit such as tongues and prophecy (1 Corinthians 12:4-1). We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire (Matthew 3:11). We also believe in the five fold ministry (Ephesians 4:11-13). We are here to help and love the way God loves us. His yoke is easy and burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30). True freedom comes from faith in the divine nature and being of Christ. We are here to prepare the field to be ripe for the harvest of seeds of wheat. We know Jesus is King and his Word will never perish (Revelation 19:6, Matthew 24:35).

The goal of Seeds of Wheat Ministry is to evangelize the Seacoast and neighboring area and cater to the homeless. We put together care packages for the homeless including snacks and toiletries. We also buy things like gloves, hats, other helpful items to help the homeless survive and maintain comfort in harsher conditions. We seek to spread the Word of Jesus to anyone we can reach in the community. We go out with signs with Jesus oriented phrases and try to spread the Word to car traffic and foot traffic. We try to uplift the homeless by engaging in theological discussions and offering prayer. We aim to help disciple people by giving out Bibles and guiding people to a local Bible believing church.
